Jane Cooper hails from the east coast where she grew up and was educated. New York City provided her with a spring board to her initial career in retailing at Bloomingdales and direct mail for American Express, American Home Magazine, Greenland Studios, and Troy Built.
Jane, as a mother, was committed to her husband, two girls, two step sons and her larger family of three sisters, one brother and father. Many of the family’s activities found them doing things together and helping each other when the situation arose. This made for an extremely close family in work and play. Most of the family moved to Oregon just to be together.
When the opportunity arouse Jane and Adrienne, her sister, struck out and started a business. Merging need with resources, Oregon Nannies, a nanny agency that served metropolitan New York area was born. The business thrived for a decade until sold and provided opportunity for many young Oregonian women and men.
The transition into real estate was a natural one as six other members of the family had already gone into the industry. Jane has been a Realtor® since 1999 and enjoys working with many families and friends.
